Enjoy Bishop Hill's Bargin Harvest Weekend Oct 2, 3 & 4

Shops, restaurants, and museums in Bishop Hill will hold a Bargain Harvest Weekend on October 2, 3, and 4. A variety of sale merchandise will be offered by participating businesses and restaurants during normal business hours. Stop by the Filling Station on Friday, PL Johnson’s on Saturday, or the Colony Inn on both nights for dinner. Visitors who gather signatures from all the shops, restaurants, and museums will be entered into Sunday's drawing for a gift basket at the Colony Store or the Vasa National Archives.

Visitors are invited to participate in special activities around town. The Bishop Hill State Museum will have a scavenger hunt. The Vasa National Archive invites you to their craft station. Visitors who find the cut-out pumpkins hidden around town will win a special prize. Tell the host at the Vasa National Archives where the pumpkins are and you will get a special treat. The Prairie Arts Center is sponsoring a Scarecrow Contest among the businesses and museums of Bishop Hill; visitors are encouraged to cast their vote for their favorite scarecrow at the Prairie Arts Center.

Please visit Bishop Hill to show support for the businesses that keep this treasured community alive. Masks and social distancing/capacity rules are enforced.
